The Police Clearance Certificate for the Bangladeshi citizens residing in abroad is issued from the respective Police Station in Bangladesh. The applicant need to apply directly or through nominated relatives to the concerned police station of the permanent residence.
Steps:
a. At the Assistant High Commission end-
Before Applying for Police Clearance Certificate, the Applicant needs to submit the following documents for Attestation by the Assistant High Commission-
1) Duly filled-in Application form and a passport size photo of the applicant.
2) A photocopy of valid passport;
3) Duly filled in Authorisation Letter, authorising a relative.
The applicant may visit Bangladesh Assistant High Commission Manchester on any working day with his valid passport and a photocopy of the valid passport and the Authorization Letter for the attestation after booking an appointment.
The Applicant may also send the documents by post with a return envelope (Prepaid Next Day Special Delivery Return Envelope- 500 g).
Service Processing time: On the same day (in case of in person delivery).
Payment Method:

b. At Bangladesh end (Application for Police Clearance Certificate):
Along with the copy of passport and authorisation letter attested by the Assistant High Commission, a Bangladeshi Mobile Number is required to apply for Police Clearance Certificate on https://pcc.police.gov.bd/ords/f?p=PCC:LOGIN_DESKTOP.
If you do not have Bangladeshi Mobile Number, one of your relatives may apply on your behalf.
c. After collection of Police Clearance Certificate from Police:
The document needs to be attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dhaka.
After that, if the applicant wishes to attest the certificate by the Assistant High Commission, they may visit Bangladesh Assistant High Commission Manchester on any working day with their valid passport, its photocopy, duly filled-in Application form, a passport size photo and the Police Clearance Certificate after booking an appointment.
The Applicant may also send the documents by post with a return envelope (Prepaid Next Day Special Delivery Return Envelope- 500 g).
